Style Muses - 2NE1

Hello Lovelies! Not many people are aware of my love of Asian culture, fashion, and music; With the rise in popularity of songs like Gangnam Style by Korea's Psy, more and more people are becoming aware of the phenomenal trends coming out of countries like South Korea and Japan, not only in music, but in fashion as well. One of my idols and inspirations is the group known as 2NE1 from South Korea, label mates with the famous Psy at YG Entertainment. They recently completed their World Wide Tour, where they visited two U.S Cities, L.A and NYC, to showcase their talents for the rabid fans who have been so anxiously awaiting their arrival in the U.S. Style mavens and muses for designers like Jeremy Scott, their successes have attracted world known artists like Will.I.Am, who is currently working with them on an English album, or world renowned photographers like Terry Richardson, who recently photographed CL, the leader of 2NE1 with Jeremy Scott. The four members, CL, Minzy, Bom and Dara believe not only in taking on the world with their music, but setting an example for the generations to come, and encourage them to take pride in their individuality. Here are just a few shots from their recent photo shoots with Elle Korea, Harper's Bazaar, Allure, Marie Claire, and Complex Magazine.

Their unique and ever changing style from wardrobe, to hair, to makeup inspires me to break away from the "trends" and create a style that is all my own. These four style muses are all very different individuals, yet they are able to create music together, and join their four very different personalities to create something both beautiful and spectacular.
